Storyboarding

Monday, December 17th, 2012

I used to use a program called Storyboard Quick 6. Unfortunately, the copy I have only works on my old computer.

So I’m on the lookout for a new application that does what I want. Such apps are just too expensive.

Ideally it would be great to have an app for my mac that allows me to have a library of images of people and quickly be able to import them into apps like Keynote or Pages. THAT would be ideal. Yet, most apps are too cumbersome for such things. I’ll figure it out eventually.. Maybe I’ll just have to use google image search for such drawings. Or use the old storyboard app to take screenshots of the characters I need and import them onto my new mac. Hmm..

iPhone app – contacts, last contacted

Monday, August 31st, 2009

I’d like to find an app that helps me keep track of when I’ve last contacted my contacts and remind me to do so every so often. Like with a push notification or easy entry onto the calendar. Also, able to set the frequency.

iPhone app – list of apps

Monday, August 31st, 2009

I’m pretty ridiculous when it comes to iPhone apps. There are 11 screens that fit 16, plus the 4 on the dock.. and I filled it up long ago.

There must be an app or process that can help me wrangle all those apps that I download and then delete.. I know it is available on itunes, but I don’t have anything on the go.

Plus there isn’t just one place to share the list of apps I’ve found. I suppose I could make a page of my favs (another day). I think I put that up someplace.. but I can’t recall where.

finder list

Friday, February 6th, 2009

I know that I can copy a list of folders or files in finder and then paste them into a text only TEXTEDIT doc, or apparently as “Paste and Match Style” in Pages.

However, I want to be able to have a list of my folders and what I intend to keep in them. I’m wasting a lot of time trying to find what I’m looking for on my computer. There are so many programs and tools to write things I frequently misplace them.

Hmm. Someone must have a program out there that puts files in an outline and drop-down type of list.. if not someone should create it.
