iPhone Apps
There are lots of apps I use, but even more that I want (but haven’t wanted to pay for yet)
These are:
A game timer
A score counter- for golf score- board game score
appshopper.com/education/audio-concise-oxford-english-dictionary-and-thesaurus – yeah! Have all that info on the go? Plus a pronunciation guide! Brilliant. I’ll just have to save up $40
appshopper.com/reference/audiobible – there are a few free versions. I’d prefer one that keeps all the audio files local so I can listen on the metro.. But the idea is still cool for when my eyes are dried out and I don’t have any current audiobooks to listen to.

I already own another $30 bible app, BibleXpress, but he can’t get the licensing for NIV which is the version we use in our bible study. Plus this biblescope app has a reading plan option.. which is pretty neat. Hmm..

Also, I’d love to see a couple apps..
I want something that has a list of hikes to take, plus parking directions and gps coordinates. Currently I’m hand entering in stuff I’ve found in a book. Having a ready-to-go app where I can check off each hike.. that would be easier.
Program to list all friends addresses and vacinity to where I am at the time
Maybe gps coordinates or google earth-like app- or online map somehow– basically a place to put a list of addresses and see them like one would coordinate waypoints on a gps

HanDbase $10 – has databases of my improv games, hikes to go on, and LOTS of other stuff. It is the current way I use my bento databases when I’m away from my computer.. in face it is a replacement for Bento really. But I can only edit on one, there isn’t an easy way to edit and sync with the two.. I even tried the HanDbase sync app- but it wasn’t easy to use like Bento.
Random #- not very fancy looking, but gets the job done
Scrabble- I bought this because I thought it could play against facebook people (like the demo at the apple store does) but this isn’t the case. I patiently await this feature (and I wish it could save multiple games and use ‘normal’ words and not like medical terms.
Wordpress – Free, I can hardly wait for the update!!
