Cd Player- Philips

My CD Player
This was my CD player
I gave it to Jamie after I bought
an mp3 cd player

I bought it late 2000 at Walmart in Florida for about $80
It is made by Philips.
I like how it can read RW-Cds. Very nice. Now I can make my own music mixes and then delete them after I get bored with them. It has a clear cover which allows you to see the CD that is inside. It has the usual features random, digital bass boost, 40 sec memory, and resume. This is my first player with a memory. My old sony palyer from 95 hadn't the technology. It is a very nice thing to have. I dropped my cd player and the cd inside the player stopped spinning but the sound went unaffected. How cool is that? It rocks. Plus the resume is the coolest! You can stop the cd with this on and it remembers where you left off! It's like pause without the power usage!

Problems: I wish it could read mp3s. It is a hassle for me to make them into songs. The batteries go on the inside which has a pro and a con. You don't have to worry about the batteries falling out but you have to take the CD out of the player to change the batteries. It would be nice if this had some sort of a belt clip or something too. And if you do buy it write down the numbers on the bottom, the ink wipes off after about a week. There is also not a seperate line out plug in like my old Sony cd player had.

This player has been obsolete by my new MP3 PLAYER
