Olypus D-595 Camera
This is my still camera.
I bought it July 20, 2005 at a best buy for $220.
It is made by Olympus.
I like the 5,0 megapixel size. After my last camera broke I was out of picture taking abilities. I knew I had to get one for an upcoming camping trip so I
did a little research and picked the best one I could find at the time.
Of course I hate it now. There is no way to turn off the auto-focus, so often the pictures are blurry. Low-level lighting picture taking is WAY too difficult, so there goes any good swing dancing pictures.
Also, the video taking abilities were pretty neat, but now they are distorted and the camera barrel makes a strange sound when opening. Camera cases are too bulky, so it is pretty beat up. I miss my last super small
camera. It is a difficult cmera to pass around. You have to explainin the press-half-way-down-to-auto-focus operation, and too often the pictures suck.
