MP3 Cd Player- Rio-Volt SP250

My MP3 CD Player
This was my Mp3CD player.
I gave it to a friend after I bought
an ipod

I bought this at Circuit City for $179.95 on July 16, 2002.
It is made by Sonic Blue.
After my first mp3 player broke I took it back and recieved a gift card for the price I paid for it. I paid $30 more and bought this unit. I liked its several additional features.. Programable name [I use hmatt.com/cd], MSU playlist compatability, 8 minute mp3 shock protection, smooth LCD dispay (actual pixels!), rechargeable batteries, LCD backlighting, and of course the firmware ability. Everything else is like my old mp3 player except it can read cds with files. It even has the STUDY feature (after you stop the cd player and turn it back on it will review the last 5 seconds of the file, helpful for radio shows). The lcd readout is clearer than the my old player too. Dislikes: The remote is a bit awkward to use and I can't seem to get to the root directory as easily as I did on my other player.
