1992 Mazda Protege
This is my car.
I got it October 18, 2005 for $1400.
It is made by Mazda.
I moved to California without any means of transportation. Yeah, you HAVE to have a car to get anywhere within a couple of hours. I originally wanted a diesel car so I could run it on veggie oil, but that didn't work. Good thing too. They have all these weird taxes on veggie oil now!
This type of car was supposed to have good gas milage, so it was one of the cars I looked for. I bought it from a woman who lived in Palos Verdes Estates. She kept it in good condition, except for the sunroof which she messed up when transporting a plant. Not the cloth there is in shreds.
I am pleased with it, although it has cost me quite a bundle more than I would have liked. The car was only worth 1200.. and I had to buy new tires and do a bunch of work on it (still do).
I dislike the color. I'd repaint it, but there is body damage and I'd have to fix that first which would cost too much.. so I'm stuck with midnight black (which gets HOT and shows dirt easily). I like to pretend it it the Kit car though.

- AAA- Ever since Jamie had my car towed via her membership, I was hooked. It has been nice to know there is someone I can call on when in need.
- Car Insurance- Yes, I am paying too much for car insurance. I was in a hurry though and had to go through AAA. Fine and all, but their premium for the year is due in full! Ouch!
- New tires- what, it cost me like $400 (I should have gotten a AAA discount at Discount Tires)
