Sony Ericcson Z520a
This is my cellular phone.
I ordered it January 4, 2006; received it the 6th. The phone was "free" (w/ 2-yr plan).
It is made by Sony.
I really liked my last phone, but all good things must come to an end. I had to switch carriers too because t-mobile dropped the
Sony phones, Cingular took them though. I'm still getting used to the whole flip-phone thing. I can only open it one handed if my thumbnail is really long.
The features are AWESOM! It has a VGA still camera (man! That is the highest setting the Mavica could do back in the day. Plus, this
phone has video camera abilities-- VIDEO CAMERA! Yes, yes.. they are very low quality (max 176 X 144), and the images are wavy.. but what a great tool to have
with me all the time! Once I figure out how to make it look presentable, I'll use it with my vlogs.
I don't like how I can't change a few buttons. There is no way to turn off the "camera" button, so I will sometimes get black pictures of my pocket. The little front
screen shows what you look like for a self portrait, but alas.. it doesn't work for video. If it did that would be the coolest.
