I am Catholic.
One of the Catholic beliefs that I've heard other people not being able to grasp is the Trinity idea. The best analogy that I've heard is the following. Water has various forms but is made up of the same thing. If water is steam it is still water. If water is ice it is still water. Think steam (holy spirit), water (God), and ice (Jesus, the solid form of God). That is how all these things are God and yet part of God at the same time.

It's amazing how many wars have started, how many families have split apart, and how many relationships have ended- all because of religion.
That's why I currently embrace a specific type of evangelization. Leading by example.
I prefer this type because it gets around the 'I'm right- your wrong' attitude that I see others in other religions practice.
Regardless of what anyone says religious beliefs cannot be proved.
That is why they are called beliefs! I don't understand why more people can't see this! If people did realize this we might have peace in our world. Instead, people use a belief system as power to put others down and lift themselves up.
I have no idea how to present some of the things that I think about or have come to the conclusion to. I suppose a list is in order! Below are things that make up who I am and what I believe. If you find errors or have something that affected you please contact me.
- Concentrate on the similarities between various religions instead of debating on which religion is better.
- Hate the sin not the sinner
- Love one another
