Tests

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

At work I have to pass these three tests with at least a 90% or higher.

I took all 3 today. I passed the first and second, then earned a 89.3 on the third.

Bummer. At least most of it is done.

Rumble

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

I was teaching a one-to-one when we felt a slight movement. She looked at me and said,”I think we are in an earthquake.”

Then it rumbled a bit longer and louder.

My first California Earthquake.

Our store has a false floor, so we evacuated. Now I’m on an early lunch.

Declutter

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

Okay, July is nearly over and soon I’ll be packing away my stuff for a move.

Tonight I may go swing dancing. Instead of napping, which is what I feel like doing now, I intend to put all of my stuff together. It is time to really go through what I need to keep and sell or toss.

Ugh, the task is daunting. Ah, but think how free I will feel once a huge chunk of junk is gone.

.. chunk of junk.. that’s funny.

Theme Parks

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

My family arrived in Anaheim on Thursday. Since then I’ve been hanging with them. Then our schedule looked like this;
Disneyland on Friday
Universal Studios on Sat
California Adventure on Sunday
Legoland on Monday

Today we are going back to Disneyland.

Out of all the things I noticed about the theme parks, was of course the long long lines.

I had my iphone, so the goofy apps kept my little brother and sister busy.
